All the videos on my website are embedded from Youtube. From what little information I can find Youtube is testing turning off videos for certain users that are not logged into a Youtube account or using a VPN to view videos. If you have a Youtube account, please try logging in and see if you can then view the videos on https://mvotd.com. If you're using a VPN, try turning it off to view the videos. There are a few other work arounds but they are pretty confusing to use. If you have the skills you might try searching Google for "Youtube Sign in to confirm you're not a bot" for a fix. I didn't see any that looked easy. Our best hope is that Youtube completes their test and realizes this is a big mistake. Until then, please check in daily to see if you still getting the error message. Sorry it took so long to figure out what was going on with this. Mel

Description

Brett built this modern ultra tiny house on evenings and weekends (while also working a full-time construction job AND working as a rural firefighter). It measures just 10' x 16' but it packs a lot into a microscopic space, including a double murphy bed, a galley kitchen, and a luxury glass shower. With a window in the front door and a window at the back, there's plenty of natural light coming into the home, and there's actually some decent storage in here with a pantry, a closet, and space above the murphy bed as well.

To maximize the living room space, Brett has collapsible furniture that folds flat so that the murphy bed can come down on top of it and create a bedroom in no time at all. He also included some clever and unique design features like the built-in charging stations on either side of the bed, and the light in the shower niche.

We were especially inspired to hear Brett's story about how he sold his first tiny home build in order to pay for his tuition to become a firefighter. He's an impressive and talented guy and we can't wait to see what he builds next :)

  • CharMaine Added Good for this guy, for the effort. Shower is taking up way too much space. Gotta have a fridge too. Less than $50K American, doable. I can think of a few homeless people I know that would appreciate leaving their bridge and/or shelter for this. Options like this instead of Section 8 make a lot more sense.
