Breakfast with a side of flirting! Sunflower Farm Creamery #Video
Description
We currently have two bucks named Angus and Ace visiting the farm. They really stir up the morning routine. What is usually a pretty quiet breakfast time has turned into the equivalent of a high school dance with all kinds of flirting happening. Today the bucks are most interested in Rhubarb, who I believe Angus bred on Thanksgiving! And Maizy, who we are saving for our next round of breeding. When a goat is in heat, she wags her tail a lot and follows the buck around, rubbing against his smelly beard. Bucks in rut act all kinds of foolish, and make the funniest courting noises you have ever heard. We hope all this excitement means that some of our mamas are bred for babies in 145 days! This group will arrive mid to late April! So fun to imagine Spring as the first snow coats the ground. Hope as you enjoy your weekend you are enjoying some sweet moments and looking ahead to Spring with Hope. we are so thankful to all of you who follow the farm and visit both virtually and in person. Sending love out to you wherever you are.
