Real SS-396 designated right in the Vin. I just bought this car back from the man I sold it to 19 years ago! It has great features and colors!

EXTERIOR: It's straight and solid. It's been at least 19 years since the body was redone and the fact it looks this good says a lot. Repainted its original Marina blue color without a vinyl top. It's laid out evenly and the clear coat has a glossy finish. It has the blacked-out SS rear panel. Jambs are slick, weatherstrips were replaced. Overall, the chrome and trim are shiny. Correct antenna and bow tie mirror. Correct T-3 headlights. Windshield was replaced, windows were tinted. 15 inch rally wheels with correct 67 center caps and BFG tires.

INTERIOR: Great looking blue interior! Factory "blinker" tachometer and in dash gauges. The dash area looks really good. Glovebox light works, clock has quartz movement. Interior lights work. Factory console with a correct 4-speed shifter. Complete set of blue seatbelts. The upholstery is overall excellent, there is a tear in the driver's seat. Door panels are mint. Headliner is tight, visors look great. Carpet looks great. The a/c is neatly mounted below the dash.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a correct 396-325 hp motor. The casting codes are proper. Stock manifolds and valve covers. Upgraded Edelbrock carb with electric choke and an HEI ignition. It has a more modern air conditioning system. It also features power steering and brakes. All the components look clean, the alternator still has a sticker on it. The metal surfaces are painted nicely.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid is glossy. Inside is solid and neatly spatter painted. The weatherstrip and mat are excellent. It has a rally wheel spare and original jack.

UNDERSIDE: The front end steering and suspension was completely rebuilt. In back the bushings, springs and shocks were replaced. Great sounding Flowmaster exhaust system. The brake system was rebuilt. E-brake cables were replaced, it has disc in front. Bottom of the motor is clean, has a high torque starter. Correct dated Muncie 4-speed trans

This is a great looking SS. It performs just as great! It feels right, sounds awesome and functions exceptionally well. It has the right stuff too!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
