Only 42 miles on a complete body frame restoration including mechanical overhaul with upgrades! The gentleman I acquired it from said he enjoys building them. He spent over 1,000 hours!

EXTERIOR: The fit and finish is better than it was when it was brand new. Every inch is laser beam straight. I did not find any body work showing, not a bubble or a crack. The panels line up square. It has a clean look with no emblems or antenna. The front fender marker lights are flush mounted. Repainted it's gorgeous original Fathom Blue color. The metal flake is laid out evenly and the clear coat is polished to a mirror finish that looks like you could dive right into. The jambs are painted slick as can be, even up by the hinges. All the chrome and trim is new, even the vent window frames. The stainless around the windshield has been polished like chrome. It has all new glass. All the weather strips and seals were replaced. Upgraded with the most expensive convertible top he could buy, it's a rich black cloth with a glass window. It has new 15 inch rally wheels with moon center caps. The tires are fatter in back, the nubs aren't even worn off the tread yet.

INTERIOR: It is completely redone. There is sound deadener on the floor under the new carpet. All new wiring harness through the entire car, updated fuse block. The door panels, armrest, window cranks, visors are all new. The seats are rebuilt, recushioned and reupholstered. It even has reproduction GM seat belts. The dash pad is replaced, it has a custom instrument panel with custom gauges. The heater controls and glove box liner is new. Modern stereo with auxiliary plug and kick panel speakers.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It's a performance built 350 making 400 horsepower They started with a 4-bolt main, high nickel block and it has a set of very desirable 461x heads. The engine was bored 30 over, has roller rockers, 10.5:1 compression. The heads have had every trick given to them, the intake is port matched. On top is a big dual feed Holley carb with electric choke, a billet distributor with HEI ignition and polished valve covers. It has a set of Thorley coated headers. The components are all new: chrome power steering pump, cadmium plated brake booster, horns, wiper motor etc. The squirters are hooked up. Upgraded aluminum radiator with a new shroud, fan and hoses. All the metal surfaces are painted very smooth and neatly.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted as slick as the outside. Inside is pristine metal with a very neatly applied spatter finish paint. It has a new weather strip, mat and well liner. There's a matching rally wheel with a new tire for a spare and a restored jack assembly.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame. The chassis was sandblasted and treated with Por 15. The floors are all rock solid metal with a chip guard coating. The suspension was completely rebuilt and has upgrades. It has boxed rear control arms, Hotchkiss sport package with fat sway bars, KYB gas shocks and lowering springs. The steering is completely rebuilt including a new steering box. Custom stainless dual exhaust system with X-pipe, polished mufflers and turn down tips. New fuel system including the tank. Completely upgraded brake system with disc at all four wheels, stainless steel lines and a working e-brake. Looking up at the motor it's still brand new looking, it has a high torque starter. The turbo 400 has a high performance build by the same shop that builds the transmissions for Grave Digger. It can handle up to 1,000 horsepower. Heavy duty yokes and a custom made driveshaft. In back is a 12 bolt rear with Moog axles and an Eaton 3.73 posi.

SERVICE: We inspected the car and calibrated the speedometer, straightened the wheel, replaced e-brake pedal pad, tightened mirror and visors.

CONCLUSION: Honest to God after looking at this car more closely I'm really impressed! He went the extra. I love how it runs, love the colors, love the quality. I really should keep it and enjoy it myself. I won't be selfish, I'll let someone else enjoy it but hurry before I change my mind.
