For anyone getting message: "Sign in to confirm you're not a bot"

First try refreshing your browser or try another browser. If that doesn't work, read the following.

All the videos on my website are embedded from Youtube. From what little information I can find Youtube is testing turning off videos for certain users that are not logged into a Youtube account or using a VPN to view videos. If you have a Youtube account, please try logging in and see if you can then view the videos on https://mvotd.com. If you're using a VPN, try turning it off to view the videos. There are a few other work arounds but they are pretty confusing to use. If you have the skills you might try searching Google for "Youtube Sign in to confirm you're not a bot" for a fix. I didn't see any that looked easy. Our best hope is that Youtube completes their test and realizes this is a big mistake. Until then, please check in daily to see if you still getting the error message. Sorry it took so long to figure out what was going on with this. Mel

This is an eye catcher! I see a lot of blue ones, never a yellow convertible. Overall, a very solid, straight car that looks good throughout.

EXTERIOR: The body is very smooth and straight, it fits really well too. I don't see any rust or damage. It has a metal cowl hood. The Daytona Yellow paint is smooth and glossy like glass. It has the SS stripes down each side. The jambs are painted slick, the weather strips and sill plates were replaced. The windshield is new. All the trim, chrome emblems etc. were replaced. The black power top looks fresh, the weatherstrips were replaced on it too. 15x8 SS wheels are wrapped in BFG tires.

INTERIOR: New carpet down on the floor. It has a complete set of original seatbelts. In between the bucket seats is an original console with the staple shifter. The upholstery, door panels, armrests have all been replaced. The dash pad looks new. The instrument panel, heater controls, vents are excellent. The plastic trim on the seats look and window cranks were replaced. There is a gauge cluster below the dash so you can keep an eye on the engine's vitals.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood is a 454 big block motor. On top is an aluminum intake, dual feed Holley carb and an HEI ignition system. All the components look clean. It has power steering and power brakes. All the metal surfaces are painted nicely.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Very clean metal neatly spatter painted. Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted smooth and glossy. The decals, weatherstrip and well liner have been replaced.

UNDERSIDE: It has the F-41 suspension which includes boxed rear control arms, front and rear swaybars. The front is not brand new, but it has been gone through, the components look clean. Disc brakes in front, the e-brake system is hooked up. Recent dual exhaust system with SS tips. The fuel tank looks new. Looking up at the motor it looks clean. It has a Turbo 350 automatic. In back is a 12 bolt rear end. The floors, rockers and braces appear to be solid metal.

We inspected this car and spent about a $1000. We adjusted the carb, timing and fan shroud. We repaired the reverse lights and voltage gauge. It got a 4 wheel alignment and we replaced the power top switch. It's turnkey ready to enjoy. Not many things better than a topless Chevelle with a big block!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
