Only 1,200 miles since meticulous 3 1/2 year build. The man I bought it from was holding back the tears. We posted a picture of a letter he wrote to the next owner, that I found in the paperwork. A lot of pride went into making this fantastic got rod.
EXTERIOR: Pristine. The fit and finish are #1. The body, fenders etc are straight with absolutely no damage, rust etc, it's all new!the paint is laid out evenly and the clear coat is polished smooth to look wet. Stunning color too. It is actually a Toyota color, paint code and touch up is included. The cab is fiberglass and is extended 8.5 inches for easier in and out. No exposed hinges for a clean look. Has steel, removable hood with no sides. In front it has 32 grill shell, chrome headlight bar, headlights with stainless braided wire loom. Front fenders are fiberglass. Rear box and fenders are steel. Tailgate has Ford script and does open. Classic style taillights have LED bulbs. New smoked glass. Has working wipers, displayed with chrome caps, wiper arms are included. The rims are powder coated red with vintage style trim. Has bigger tires in back for a cool hot rod stance.
INTERIOR: Wow, the interior really pops. All bright red and meticulously done. Glovesoft, actual leather on a new comfortable seat. The entire inside of the cab is custom upholstered in the exact same shade of red. Also has red carpeting with sewn edges and matching floor mats. Dash is painted the color of the body and has a really nice looking set of Classic Industries gauges. Nice looking Vintage Air heat controls with backlit knobs. Has aluminum tilt steering column with a beautiful polished wood rim wheel and banjo spokes. Overhead it has a console with a stereo, dome light and power window switches. Specialty power windows with contact buttons in the jambs, no wires. Has 4 speakers, 12 volt receptacles, billet pedals, E-Z wiring harness with schematics. Very comfortable, nice positioning of the pedals, steering wheel etc. Remember this body is 8 1/2 inches longer then original for more room. The seat is reclining and slides back and forth. New Hurst shifter and has e-brake handle.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Rebuilt Ford 302 motor with Edelbrock e-street aluminum heads, aluminum intake and a chrome plated Edelbrock carb. Lokar throttle assembly.
