Engineering of the older houses were genius. We would do wise to keep a lot of these ideas when possible. Not to mention the beauty. I remember those transom windows. I've seen the dogtrot houses and had no idea what they were called or why they were like that. We should learn something new every day. Dogtrot House is my gem for today. Thank you!
