This is wonderful. So many strays have horrible, short lives, but Maple won't.
I had neighbors that moved and left their cat behind. I took to putting cat food out in my garage. Took 6 months before I could touch him. Now after 2 years, he is my shadow and climbs in my lap. Rule #1 be patient and provide food. I am so glad you kept up feeding the cat and finally could touch him.
His ear tip missing makes me think he was part of a TNR program!!! And now he had a home! Wonderful!
