Their friendship began when Mats found her alone in the forest, weak and hungry. He built her a small nest to keep her safe and helped her grow stronger. As she got older, she became more confident and loved joining him on the water. Even after becoming independent, Leya never stopped visiting him. For Mats, their bond is something truly special.
