Captivating. I have seen blue eggs before. Some plain and some with spots. It seems to be reflecting the health of the parents and ultimately the offspring as well as the male participation. No matter the bird. And I recently had a discussion with a former neighbor about blue eggs. He said there were 3 or 4. I disagreed. Now, I can tell him there are actually 10 species that produce them. I'm going to send this to him so he can see for himself. Thanks for sharing these factoids with me, Mel. I'm grateful for it.
