When Steven found a baby duckling stranded in the pool at this apartment complex, he found a new friend. He was unable to reunite Cheerio with his duck family, so Steven made sure he was safe. Now that Cheerio has returned to the wild, he still visits Steven every day, and even brings his wild duck friends with him.

hey are you a big duck i got a phone call from one of my tenants that there was a duckling stranded in the pool he was so small doing big duck stuff today we tried to reunite him with some duck families that were really close but none of them were his family come on buddy so i ended up holding him for the night [Music] you are funny buddy from that point on it's me and him whoa little swim time in the outdoor pool today he's out all day enjoying his life the cheerios first snow oh there he is his first blight go cheerio go i didn't want to ruin his chances of maybe going back to the wild so basically just let him do what he wants to do [Music] the journey of cheerio continues good boy buddy one time you decided to fly and he he flew away he didn't come home and i said you know what well let's see what happens and i came to work the next day and sure was the sunrise he was sitting at the pool waiting for me here he is cheerio flying with his buddy he's even brought wild ducks to come see me look at you too huh i think she likes you a female came looking for him once and he brought the female to me it's like hey come be my dad he's food she's following you around buddy it's really cute [Music] cheerio on his buddies yeah he goes to the ocean he hangs out with other ducks does everything a wild duck would do cheerio but when he's out for a few hours then he comes to find me you following daddy come on [Music] this is life before i know it i got tyrio flying in and you know landing right next to me you're crazy buddy he loves flying after the golf cart all right buddy you ready [Music] let's go if he catches just a little glimpse of me out of the corner of his eye he's hey they got them should come up from behind i learned which flight route will say he is definitely different when it comes to me you know i'm his main man that's what makes ours unique i believe is because i wanted him to go back to the wild and be a duck i can let him do what he wants to do i mean he was born here you know so this is something all the moments that made this so special he knows me i know him we got a bond [Music] like comment and subscribe you
