Description
"This felt like a fairytale, with ups and downs and fortunately a happy ending. Raising these baby squirrels was exhausting but in the end so rewarding.
I was feeding them every three hours day and night and I thought that was as tough as it would get. Little did I know…
Important disclaimer:
Never give cow milk to any animal…never. It is bad for them and it might even be fatal.
Before you decide to own a squirrel yourself… They need a very larch aviary that has to be ready before you get one. I feel a squirrel should live in a tree, unfortunately this species is not native to my country so I can not set them free."

-
M Leybra Added Never give cows milk, okay, but why not elaborate on what else to give, make it easy for other people to help an orphaned animal in a pinch, when it's not always easy to find help & the animal suffers. Is that why these squirrels got diarrhea, he gave them cow's milk?
-
Becky Added What a wonderful, caring guy to take such good care of those adorable squirrels. I know it must've been a sad feeling to take them outside to help them get a normal squirrel life. You never know where predators are lurking... he could lose all three in a single day if he lets them loose for real. They aren't trained to avoid certain dangerous situations, having led such sheltered lives.
