It is always so sad when we lose the ones we have grown to love. Even a dog experiences the loss. It is precious that you rescued and gave Cricket, while shorter than it should be, a beautiful closing chapter to life here. Cricket is in heaven. God created Cricket and all things He creates return to Him. I take great comfort in knowing that.
