All the videos on my website are embedded from Youtube. From what little information I can find Youtube is testing turning off videos for certain users that are not logged into a Youtube account or using a VPN to view videos. If you have a Youtube account, please try logging in and see if you can then view the videos on https://mvotd.com. If you're using a VPN, try turning it off to view the videos. There are a few other work arounds but they are pretty confusing to use. If you have the skills you might try searching Google for "Youtube Sign in to confirm you're not a bot" for a fix. I didn't see any that looked easy. Our best hope is that Youtube completes their test and realizes this is a big mistake. Until then, please check in daily to see if you still getting the error message. Sorry it took so long to figure out what was going on with this. Mel

Description

The students and staff of Two Rivers - Dos Rios Elementary School celebrate their positive school climate and CHOOSE KINDNESS campaign in a musical extravaganza set to the music and lyrics of the song, "This Is Me," from the musical film, "The Greatest Showman." Music and lyrics written and composed by Benj Pasek & Justin Paul.

Students, staff and families, please remember the four tenets of kindness: Be Friendly, Show Appreciation, Offer Help, and Reach Out. Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and that they BELONG at school because everyone is unique. Be proud of who you are! "This Is Me!" If we all practice BEING KIND, and celebrating our diversity, our school and community will be an even more glorious place to be.

Two Rivers - Dos Rios Elementary School is a traditional kindergarten-fifth grade elementary school located in Springfield, Oregon and is part of the Springfield Public Schools school district. The Principal is Charlie Jett, and Assistant Principal is Kristen Noor.

  • CharMaine Added This was very nicely done . . . the "Be Kind" message, I pray, is taught at home as well. Parents can learn a lot from these kids.

  • Vera Added Love this video!
  • Jackie Added I can't think of the exact wording to describe the feeling one gets when watching this video. Hats off to everyone who helped in putting this together. The students were outstanding, and played a big part in my tearing up each time I watch it. It would be nice to see other schools do something similar; maybe make it a 'challenge' as I've seen various groups do. We get so much from viewing it, but I think the kids get much more from doing it. So glad I got to see it.
  • Mary Jane Added Absolutely wonderful. All children need to hear this every single day until they know it in their hearts.
