All the videos on my website are embedded from Youtube. From what little information I can find Youtube is testing turning off videos for certain users that are not logged into a Youtube account or using a VPN to view videos. If you have a Youtube account, please try logging in and see if you can then view the videos on https://mvotd.com. If you're using a VPN, try turning it off to view the videos. There are a few other work arounds but they are pretty confusing to use. If you have the skills you might try searching Google for "Youtube Sign in to confirm you're not a bot" for a fix. I didn't see any that looked easy. Our best hope is that Youtube completes their test and realizes this is a big mistake. Until then, please check in daily to see if you still getting the error message. Sorry it took so long to figure out what was going on with this. Mel

Description

Pippa's story is one of transformation, love, and companionship. Rescued from a shelter where she was timid and shy, Pippa found her forever home and a new best friend in Maverick, a four-year-old dog. This video explores Pippa's journey from being a timid rescue to a confident and cherished family member, highlighting the bond she formed with Maverick and the joy she brought into her new home.

Discovering Pippa

Pippa was discovered at a shelter, where her timid nature caught the attention of her future owner. At just two years old, Pippa had already experienced motherhood, a surprising fact considering responsible breeders typically wait until a dog is at least two before breeding. Quote from Owner: “She had just turned two and she had already had babies, and that's crazy because a normal breeder would not breed until at least the age of two.” The moment her future owner met her, it was clear that Pippa was meant to be part of their family. Her initial reaction upon arriving home was to retreat into her crate, suggesting she might have spent much of her previous life confined and used for breeding. Quote from Owner: “When I brought her home she immediately went in her crate. It made me think that maybe she was just lived in her crate and was just bred.”

Building Confidence with Maverick

Pippa’s new home included Maverick, a four-year-old dog who played a crucial role in helping her gain confidence and adjust to her new environment. The presence of another dog provided Pippa with the comfort and security she needed to open up and start enjoying her new life. Quote from Owner: “Having Maverick there with Pippa gave Pippa some confidence to be calm and that there's somebody there with her.” Maverick and Pippa quickly formed a bond, often seen sitting together or playing energetically. Pippa showed her affection by almost sitting on Maverick, a gesture of trust and companionship. Quote from Owner: “If Maverick's in the floor Pippa will come over and almost sit on him.”

A Quick Bond

The bond between Pippa and Maverick was immediate, with the two becoming inseparable. Whether playing together or cuddling on the bed or couch, their friendship flourished, providing Pippa with a sense of belonging and happiness. Quote from Owner: “They definitely are bonded and that did not take long at all to happen.” Their playful interactions are balanced by moments of calm, where they rest side by side, illustrating the deep connection they share. Quote from Owner: “They love to play fight, but then immediately after they're playing they'll get on the bed and just cuddle each other or on the couch and cuddle.”

A Sweet and Loving Companion

Pippa’s sweet nature quickly won over everyone she met. Described as an angel, she is known for her wagging tail and affectionate demeanor. She loves being petted and often paws at her owner to encourage more attention. Quote from Owner: “People describe her as an angel anywhere I take her she's just sweet as can be.” Her owner, who works from home, often finds Pippa and Maverick eager to snuggle and cuddle after a long day of work meetings, showcasing the loving atmosphere they’ve created together. Quote from Owner: “Once they go back together after I'm done it's snuggling and cuddling and all that.”

Completing the Family

Pippa’s arrival completed the family, filling a gap her owner didn't realize was there. Her presence brought joy and love, making her an integral part of their lives and solidifying her place as a beloved family member. Quote from Owner: “She completed our little family; she was the missing piece that we needed.” Pippa's journey from a timid rescue to a confident, loving companion highlights the transformative power of love and companionship. Her story is a testament to the difference a caring home and a loyal friend can make in the life of a rescued animal.
