Video Script::

Carly was brought to me one night in late January in one of these small laundry baskets I remember thinking oh my gosh he's so tiny i think he was like just under two pounds i never cared for a para light skin before i didn't really know what his future held when I picked him up and just kind of like held him to me shaking and then they just she started hurry he ate really well and he was very bright and added a lot of pain and then couldn't use his hind legs he was just so feisty the veterinarian recommend that euthanasia hearing those words really hard to process but in that moment it was just very clear to me that euthanasia wasn't the right choice for him so I took him to the emergency department at our Hospital the surgeons there were willing to try and save him unfortunately the quotes perhaps surgery was 10 to 12 thousand dollars I took Charlie home and I started a GoFundMe page and we started sharing his story within 24 hours over 600 people had donated and we raised more than enough money for his surgery I just sobbed because I just knew okay we did it he's gonna be okay couple days later he had his surgery [Music] you would see big changes [Music] smiley [Music] when he jumped by the first name I was so shocked to see him do that and it was like once he figured out that he could do something he was like oh yeah I got this he's just so motivated he required so much care and energy and love and I just couldn't imagine letting him go after I had charlie and after we had gone through so much it kind of opened my eyes to how many at risk hats and special needs cats are out there since having Charlie ever gone these kittens who required more care Charlie has been a huge source of inspiration on motivation for the other special needs skin but out Charlie I don't think that I would have had the guts to follow my dream of animal rescue I am so thankful that I was able to take him on like comment and subscribe you

  • Lynne Henderson Added It is just so nice to see what wonderful people are doing in this unsettled atmosphere right now. Fostering animals must be so rewarding. What a great lady.
