Tangled Osprey Realizes They're Only Trying to Help #Video

A local wildlife rescuer is called in to help after police officers try their best to rescue an osprey trapped high up in a tree, tangled in a fishing hook nearly 15 feet above the ground. Reaching the bird proves to be a challenge, but through patience and teamwork, they carefully secure the distressed osprey and bring it down safely. The bird is then transported to a wildlife center, where experts are able to examine him and remove the fishing hook. Later, when he’s finally released back into the wild, his reaction says it all — a small moment that almost feels like a “thank you” before he soars off to freedom.
