It seems like the triplets woke up bursting with hops! It is so fun to see them come into their bodies in just a couple days and find such joy and all the ways they can move. Just 5 days old and abreast trying to FLY! My favorite thing is the sound of their busy hooves on the barn cement floor. (See if you can notice the moment where Amelia helps her brother up the big step at the back of the barn!) They are enjoying being the stars of the barn, but they won’t be for long. Eight mamas are due over the week ahead!! Imagine how different the scene will look with all those sweet new additions!
And I can’t even handle the cuteness of how expressive mini newbie ears are!
Ps… the babies are definitely beautiful, but can we take a minute to appreciate Thistle?! She has three kids nursing, and I am still milking her once a day to relieve any extra pressure. Her udder is beautiful! And she is an amazing mama. So calm and doting.
