Berserk spent years unable to do the things that come naturally to a bear. Now that he is safe, something unexpected has emerged: a playful personality nobody had the chance to see before. Watching him figure out sunshine, freedom and fun is what makes this rescue so special.
While bear bile extraction is now banned in Vietnam, 150 bears are still waiting to be freed from tiny metal cages. Animals Asia is working to rescue every last one, but they need your help. Started out to be a horrible story and so happy they have been rescued. Hope they are able to save and rescue the other bears still in captivity.
Why govts keep letting these evil people continue to harm God's creatures for self-profit is just beyond me. So glad it appears to finally be outlawed. What a beautiful rescue story this is. Berserk deserves his freedom just like the man or the woman you see in the morning every day. One down and 150 to go . . . I can't wait for Jesus to return so all manner of cruelty stops. Good work in freeing captive bears. Bile from the gall-bladders of captive bears to be used in traditional Asian medicines, even where it exists in the US, should be totally outlawed. Surely modern science could eradicate this disgusting practice?
