Anyone that does not know that a dog can adapt to almost anything has never had a dog. Our little dog has two torn ACLs on her back legs and still runs around like a healthy puppy. We give her once a month shots to help with that and cosiquin (sp?) every other day for the same reason. I honestly believe we could stop her treatments and she would still be just as active and lovable as her condition would allow. In general,,, dogs are much better than most humans.
