Vollen, Norway ????????
Vollen is a little marine town not far from Oslo. It became our first video choice not only for its spectacular views, quiet places for recording and proximity to our homes, but also for its special meaning in our moving process to Asker. It was Vollen that made us fall in love with this whole area. After checking out school opportunities for Bogdan and taking a decision to move to Asker commune, we went for a drive. We accidentally stoped in Vollen as one of the near towns to look around, have a cup of coffee and have a walk. It caught our breath! It was a year ago when we were sitting on a bench (you see it in the beginning of the video) and talked about dreams of maybe recording a video here. We had to show it to our YouTube Subscribers - so amazing it was!
In the first part of the dance you see fjord - it is connected directly to the sea, the water is salty. It is possible to take a boat to go to the other side.
Our side by side we chose to record near the swan/duck place. We love to come and feed the birds there from time to time. Cafeteria is the one we had our first cup of coffee in Vollen and the last shot is made in the place where we had a walk. So everything you see is not only a nice view, it is all filled with its special history for us. We are joking that this video can be called Dancing Through Our Own Vollen :)
