Yes, the good old days! I remember them well. Actually, everything was better back then.

  • Anne

You bet I remember. Things were much simpler back then and safer.

Aahh, the good old days? Reminded me of how much time I spent in the library working on reports, and in the music store looking for my favorite artists and songs.

  • Janet

The good old days. I miss them very much. There was more freedom, less fear.

  • PEGGY

I miss those simple days where things were just simple and people were courteous . Kinda of brought tears to my eyes . But , time change and rolling along with them even though more complicated . Live , Love and be Happy . Thats my Motto :)

  • Doug

Love this. Brings back so memories. Our kids and grand kids do not know or realize how good they have it now.

  • BA

Thanks Mel: I am glad I am old enough to remember even before these days.

Ironicly technology is advancing at lightning speed while our sense of morality and goodness appears to be in decline.

  • Mary Jane

I remember and though I am glad I was born when I was, I sure do love what we have now, most of it anyway.

  • mimi

it was nice to be able to experience those days and then move on.

Oh, yes, Mel. I remember it all. Especially the Afro hairstyle! Wink.
    Ah, those were the days.

At least back in those days we did talk to each other face to face. Nowadays you send pictures to each other, you talk thru the internet with typed words lots of times the words are misspelled too. Every generation has its ups & downs it is just how life is.

Wonderful---wonderful video of a time in the past. I'm so glad that I was born and raised back in those days----40's and 50's.

  • Jo Haddad

This reminded me again how glad I was brought up when I was! I know I take advantage of the new things, but give me back the old days! Thanks

Yes, this took me down memory lane. I can add one item involving laundry: wash tub with scrub board and clothes line; ringer washing machine/rinse tub/ clothes lines to the washer/dryer routine. Love he days of listening to the radio which made you use your imagination. Those were wonderful times with "people" connecting live and in person! Thanks so much for this.

  • Patricia Yager Delagrange

    WOW have things changed!

  • Randy Ferguson

I remember all of this and more. I remember when we only had AM radio to listen to. We didn't get a TV until I was in the 8th grade. Nowadays everyone is high tech, but I'm still stuck on the yellow #2 pencil. :P
