All the videos on my website are embedded from Youtube. From what little information I can find Youtube is testing turning off videos for certain users that are not logged into a Youtube account or using a VPN to view videos. If you have a Youtube account, please try logging in and see if you can then view the videos on https://mvotd.com. If you're using a VPN, try turning it off to view the videos. There are a few other work arounds but they are pretty confusing to use. If you have the skills you might try searching Google for "Youtube Sign in to confirm you're not a bot" for a fix. I didn't see any that looked easy. Our best hope is that Youtube completes their test and realizes this is a big mistake. Until then, please check in daily to see if you still getting the error message. Sorry it took so long to figure out what was going on with this. Mel

  • Nancy Added I think there is a misnomer used here. Yellow hornets create paper nests above ground, yellow jackets create nests underground.
  • Ham Todd Added Wow! Don't mess with Yellow Jackets!
  • Wandakate Added OUCH OUCH OUCH.... OMG YIKES.... I was scared just watching this video... I have NEVER in my life encountered them and hope to GOD I never will. What I just saw is enough to convince me to stay far away if I ever see a nest like that one... Thanks, MEL !!!
  • iotus2 Added I'm convinced - but now what? I'd like to see how he removed the nest safely. I sure wouldn't try it on my own. That is a job for the pros!
  • Martin Added WOW! Here is my question; I am from the south. He called them both, Yellow Jackets and Yellow Hornets. Which one is it? In Florida, Yellow Jackets don't have nests like this one, their nests are in the ground, not on a eaves of a building. These look like "regular" Yellow Jackets and not Hornets, but it's not in the ground.
  • mercedes Added One word--INCOMPLETE---
How did he deal with it---how did he remove----explain "Medical Lab"----etc.
  • Lola Added Is he out of his mind?? lol They scare me to death!! I always heard lay flat on the ground((I was raised on a farm))until they are gone!!!! Don't run!!!!!!
  • oldtom9 Added Now you tell me! For years I have been spraying in the nest for less than thirty seconds, then running away, then returning with a broom to knock down the nest. I am not kidding. Thanks for the video.
  • Mari Added When we were kids, my friend got stung from a yellow jacket whose nest was in the ground. I ran like heck, but she had been told not to move when around hornets or bees so she would not be stung. This may be true when they fly around you, but she had poked their nest with a stick. The sting she endured was very painful!!
  • Annette Added Over the years had two of these in tree or bush. ALWAYS wait until after dark to approach while they are inside to have removal by an expert. Also you may find a yellow jacket nest in the ground in the south, especially when mowing grass (had that experience once). Again, mentally mark the location and wait until after dark to treat the area.
  • Patricia Yager Delagrange Added I have always been afraid of bees and such so watching this is really scary.
  • Kathleen Added Interesting but incomplete. Would like to witness professional removal,
  • Denise Added What happened? Did he remove it? How? What was his reference to "medical lab" about?
  • Rosemary Added He didn't demonstrate anything but a bunch of riled hornets. We didn't see any danger, and we didn't see him remove the nest which would have been educational.
  • Kathy Added Thanks for the info but did he remove it after all?
  • Sher Added YIKES!
  • Marianne Added I would of liked to see him remove it.
  • David Barrielier Added I just got rid of one 2x this size, and now have another in a tree!
