Kham Pang was rescued from an elephant riding camp during the Covid crisis. Once a rescued elephant understands her new relationship to humans, we introduce them into potential relationships with their own kind. Depending on the character of the elephant, this may be a simple or more lengthy process. It is a challenging step in Elephant Rescue Work. Every time, when we introduce an elephant into a new relationship, we need a skilled helper - someone who interacts well, is gentle, and has a good sense of compromise, with high diplomacy. Mintra is one of our gentle and talkative elephants. Today we introduced Kham Pang into her family group at Elephant Nature Park, and Mintra did her best to help all of her friends in the group to accept her.
