This is absolutely priceless advice, well worth emulating ...thanks so for sending this message!

  • Mary Jane

Very wise, hope I start being more present in my life.

  • Lovey

This was outstanding - so much wisdom. We all need to take what she said to heart because one day it wil be too late................

  • CharMaine

I absolutely admire her wisdom Wisdom is priceless. No matter where you get it from as we walk our journeys in this world. And her story is very believable & appreciated.

Here is where I bump into the Debbie-downer side of this. She opens with "I've buried three husbands, two children, most of my friends . . .". But when she holds (***uming it's) his wristband it states, "DOB 1952 = ADM (?) 1987". She says he p***ed at 45 of cancer yet the wristband as calculated would have him p***ed at 35. Later she speaks of her son (who is 76) coming to visit every Sunday, rain or shine. How can that be if she buried three husbands, two children, most of my friends . . . as stated in the beginning. My apologies for being a # nerd.

Again, I sincerely appreciate the advice, the suggestions to capture time in a much more meaningful way. It's quite poignant. But when things don't "add up", I wonder why. Who really wrote this. Is this a real person.

Have a fantastic week to one and all. Blessing to you -- as well. Thank you, Mel. :-)

I've seen this before and it's STILL as powerful as the first time. I'm going to send it to my 2 daughters. I'll be 81, my body's wearing out and I want them to hear this and see this. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR RE-POSTING THIS!!

  • Patricia Yager Delagrange

THAT was awesome. I am going to send it to everyone in my family so they can watch and listen to it. Thank you.

  • Randy Ferguson

Wow! Such wisdom! And to think that I almost didn't watch it because it was so long. I'm 74 and I've died 4 times. Every morning when I wake up, I wonder if this will be my last day on earth. God has kept me here for a reason. I wonder if I'm doing what He wants me to do. If I knew beyond a shadow of doubt what that was, I would do it. I think I'll call my sister today. I haven't done that for a couple of weeks.

So easy to relate to so much of what she had to say. It brought me to tears as I related her words to my life. Such a good reminder about what’s important.

This has been one of the most inspirational and heartfelt videos that you have ever presented Mel. What that woman said should make everyone think deeply about their life and what is truly important to them and the people in their life.

  • Annette

    Good advice.
