What an amazing hero! Lucille is so happy now . . . I don't understand why this is happening in a first-world nation. How can there possibly that many horses in need? Do we really call ourselves "civilized"? This story should serve as an appeal to the human heart for help. I pray it does. We can all do something . . .

Hope she can find some private funding to keep doing her great work. Federal funds can be taken away at any time - no guarantee of how much or how long. I too think that abusers should be punished!
God bless this young lady for all she did with this horse. I can't stand animal abuse! Abusers should get a long prison sentence! I'm old school, so I don't understand why a beautiful young lady would get her nose pierced. I think it takes away some of their beauty.
