Never ever let a dog lick you. Dogs have a rare but deadly bacteria in their mouths that can kill you. It puts a deadly disease into your system that over months gets worse and worse until you die = there is no treatment for it. Never let a dog lick you = it only takes one lick to have this happen. Be gentle in teaching "no lick" to your dog since licking is a sign of love to them. It is how they show love, so this natural lick instinct needs to be GENTLY taught NOT to do.
I think dogs really do have a 6th sense. They take good care of us.
