We were so fortunate to grow up in the 50's, the best of times. So much fun, going to the drive in and flying kites, or riding our bikes all over the neighborhood. This was the time to be a kid. The memories are lasting.
Oh my, so long ago! I loved visiting the 50's again. Thanks for the popsicles, hula hoops, and paper dolls.
Russ. Back in those years the greastest years at that everyone got along no matter wher or what you came from. I can relate to almost all of it, being born in 1939.

Who remembers the Flexi? I loved mine, still have a couple “road rash” scars from my daring rides down hill!

Thanks Mel, I loved that trip back in time. I grew up in the 50's and 60's and today I feel like my generation lived thru the best of years. Glad I am getting old. (not really).

This is one of my favorite videos! I remember a lot of this.
Some of these things are still around. The hula hoop (not the craze it once was), drive in movies, roller skates, etc. By the way, muscle cars as we've known them didn't really come to be until the 1960s
