There are a lot of weird people out there
I've seen many of these characters walking on Broadway. Children and some adults want pictures with them, and then they expect to be paid. The pictures are expensive! Just another way to make money.
Many of those shots look like the New York City subway, where 'strange' isn't. One looks like Salt Lake City, which isn't actually a subway.

The US subways seem to be fun, just 'goin' with the flow'. Or has the asylum cleared its rooms? Good fun all the way, say I.

I understand Santacon. Perhaps the others are on their way to a Comicon. The chap who found fabric to match the upholstery of the seat deserves much credit - really funny. Some of these people may not be going to Comicon. They may be Walmartians who have chosen to ride the subway! Search for Walmartians sites on the internet and you can all have a laugh (or cry).
