Description

Hello everyone and welcome to Mystery Scoop.
French artist transforms modern celebrities into classical portrait paintings and the consequences are monumental. While everyone nowadays may immortalise their image in a gorgeous portrait by just utilising a smartphone, things were a little different in the past. People of status, with elevated social rankings, are overwhelmingly represented in historical portrait paintings, which would typically cost a fortune to commission. Instagram artist Kyes has used his digital skills to recreate classical paintings by replacing people who were prominent in the past for those who are important in pop culture today. The results instinctively lift the subject of the painting onto a higher plane than just simply mundane.

Please check the video to see some amazing classical paintings of famous modern people and celebrities as if they lived in the Renaissance era.
