Description

With an engine-less Porsche 911 project car on his hands, Bob Radke made a brave (or perhaps sacrilegious) choice. With the help of Renegade Hybrids and Westech Performance, his 1975 Porsche adopted eight cylinders of American grunt between the rear wheels, where the car’s 2.7-liter flat-six once lived. But believe it or not, the stroked LS6 fits right onto the stock mounting points, requiring no cuts to the car’s original structure. If Radke had the factory engine he could swap it back without any trouble—but with 603 hp, more than 500 lb-ft of torque at 2000 rpm, and a tenacious bark, who would want to? Watch here for the more details on Radke’s wicked Corvette-powered 911.
