At Elephant Nature Park, we have a hydrotherapy pool to help elephants recover from injuries sustained in the past while doing unnatural work such as logging, elephant riding, street begging, or performing.
On this day, Wan Mai led her mother, Mae Mai, to the hydrotherapy pool for some fun under the hot sun. They were clearly enjoying themselves—splashing and climbing onto each other’s backs. At the park, elephants are given the freedom to express natural behaviors and enjoy a happy life.
