Mercury division of Ford has joined GM’s Pontiac and Olds, and Chrysler’s De Soto and Plymouth in the great junkyard in the sky. Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Volkswagen and Tesla have gained vast swaths of market share- and soon the Chinese are coming. And our President wants to bring back coal. Good luck, America !
What a cool story. And a great lady. I'm sure that car is in good hands today. Classic car. Classy lady.
Great story, Mel! Sorry to hear she has passed on, may she RIP. I wonder what happened to the Comet?
Oh My Gosh Mel I'm sharing to my Facebook and so many will love it like I do . Thank you Mel . Still smiling
Have a fabulous weekend
Loving her Mercury so much, no wonder Rachel got rid of 3 hubbies! Another woman had herself buried with her Lamborghini! I prefer people to things, even horseless carriages!
She is such a Gem! And so is the Comet! As a car guy, I loved this story!
Fabulous! I read of her some years ago and saw another video on this car when it was at about 500,000 miles. In that video she explains her detail to maintenance which has kept the Comet running so well. Thanks for bringing us this story. Sorry to learn that Rachel has visions problems.
Wow, what an amazing woman!
Wonderful story, Mel!! Yes, we do have special relationship with our cars, as this sweet lady has shown.
Beautiful story. She is one lovely lady. She and her car will be remembered.
What a special lady! Love her car.
