This is a stunning Corvette! The coupes are very rare and desirable. According to the numbers and codes this one was born like you see it: these gorgeous colors and it has the performance L79 motor, 4-speed and posi. #s matching. It's been body off frame restored.
Paint code 976- Nassau Blue
Interior code 460- White with blue trim
Engine code HT- 327-350 hp L79

EXTERIOR: Stunning good looks. The coupe body style is like artwork. The body appears to be in great shape, it's straight and it fits nice. Repainted its original Nassau blue. The paint is laid out even all around and has a very glossy clear coat finish. There are imperfections if you get up close and look for them. All the chrome and trim on the car sparkles. The windshield is new. It has a factory power antenna. Great looking set of tires and wheels. It has a set of reproduction Firestone gold line tires and knock off wheels.

INTERIOR: It is just as pretty inside as it is on the outside Nice bright blue carpet front to back. It comes with two sets of floor mats. In front of me it looks beautiful. The dash pads are mint, the gauges were professionally restored, the clock is ticking. The knobs are in great shape, the original AM/FM radio plays clearly. The center console looks new, and it has the correct lockout shifter. The glove box door and liner look new the light works. Door panels are bright white, seats are reupholstered. It has reproduction deluxe seat belts. The headliner and all the trim is great looking.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The L79 was quite a potent small block. It featured a forged crank, solid lifters, bigger valves, 11:1 compression, a dual plane aluminum intake and a Holley four barrel carb. It is restored to factory condition complete with ignition shielding, the correct open element air cleaner, finned Corvette valve covers etc. It has the correct gooseneck, reproduction hoses and clamps, dated expansion tank, proper shroud, and clutch fan. Everything is very clean and detailed.

UNDERSIDE: This was a body off the frame restoration. At that time, they completely rebuilt the front and rear independent suspension. The steering was rebuilt. It has disc brakes at all four wheels. The brake system was completely redone, e-brake cables, hoses, lines were all replaced. Clean dual exhaust with the polished tips going out through the valance. Looking up at the motor it is clean Chevy Orange, the fuel pump and starter look good. It has the lower shielding and correct canister type oil filter. That is the VIN number matched Muncie 4-speed trans. The drive shaft is rebuilt. It has an original dated and coded correct 3.36 posi rear. The raw fiberglass floors are in excellent condition. The spare tire carrier is complete.

SERVICE: We inspected the car and fixed the turn signals, brake lights and driver’s door lock.

CONCLUSION: What a great looking car! The lines of a coupe are amazing, and these factory colors really make this one outstanding. #s matching, frame off restored high hp car with stunning good looks. Why not enjoy your investment? How much fun are you having with your stocks?

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
