#s match, documented 340 hp, factory red/red! Only 1,040 miles on a body off frame restoration, documented with photos. Special ordered by Roland Pavlik at Jim Connell Chevrolet. We have the order form, window sticker, warranty booklet and other miscellaneous docs.

EXTERIOR: Stunning red two topper! I think it's probably better than when it left the factory. The body is pristine, I didn't see any body work or cracks. It fits really nice, doors shut like new. The headlights open and close, correct T-3 bulbs. Factory Riverside Red, code 923, and it's polished like glass. The chrome, emblems, and trim sparkles. It was ordered with a removable red hardtop that is completely restored. The black convertible top is completely restored. Correct spinner hubcaps look like new. It's riding on BFG radial redline tires.

INTERIOR: The red interior is just as striking! According to the trim tag it was born this way, code 490M. It is spotless. Carpet looks new front to back. The dash pads, correct glovebox door and all the gauges look like new. The seats were recushioned and upholstered. New door panels, armrests and knobs. The console, steering wheel, visors all look fresh. It is all correct- shifter, radio, reproduction mats etc.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: VIN #s matching, correct casting coded and dated motor. It is the 327 with optional 340 hp. This is a very potent engine and typically more reliable than the fuel injection engine. As compared to the 300 horsepower it came with a bigger harmonic balancer, forged domed pistons, solid lifter cam, swirled intake valves, hardened tip pushrods and crank journals, dual point distributor, bigger alternator pulley and dressed in aluminum finned valve covers. This motor compartment is restored like it left the factory. Correct fuel filter and lines, choke tube, air cleaner and ignition shielding. It has correct deep groove pulleys, spring clamp battery cables and dated overflow bottle. It's detailed to show quality. Every component looks fresh and correct.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame and under this car was rebuilt and detailed. It looks fresh! First year for front and rear independent suspension. All the steering and suspension looks rebuilt. The brakes were gone through. Brake lines, hoses and e-brake cables are hooked up. Factory type dual exhaust with the slash cut tips going through the valance. Looking up at the motor it is clean, has correct starter and canister type oil filter. Correct orange overspray on the bell housing. VIN #s matching, correctly dated T-10 4-speed trans looks fresh. Correct 1963 rear end with 3.70 gears. The fiberglass floors and spare tire carrier look to be in excellent shape.

This is an exceptional Corvette. It's very detailed throughout, fits right with excellent finishes. #s matching and documented justifies why you should buy it, it's an investment. The red on red, 340 hp with a 4-speed is why you want to buy it!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
