This car is stunning, it's wild and tasteful at the same time! Only 622 miles since a body off frame professional build.
EXTERIOR: The body has had extensive custom work lead sled style! It's a chopped top, it was nosed, decked and shaved! The trim was removed and filled on the hood, trunk and down the sides. The hood corners were rounded. The handles were removed, doors open by remote. The fuel door was filled. The headlights, turn signals and taillights were frenched. The paint is killer! The bodywork was done right, it is straight and isn't cracking or bubbling. The metallic yellow fades from a lighter on top to darker on the bottom. The purple metallic flames outlined in green is really stunning. It has a smooth and glossy finish throughout. It has some old school hand pinstripe too. A modified 1953 Corvette grill fills the front. It's decorated with Lake pipes, dummy spot lights and oval ports on the hood. Custom bumpers are smoothed. The glass was replaced, original back window. It rolls on a set of radial whitewall tires and sombrero caps.
INTERIOR: There's a lot of custom sculpting and upholstery, all professionally done. Down on the floor is premium carpet and mats with bound edges. The door panels, kick panels, rear panels, rear shelf, seats and headliner all look amazing. In front of me is a painted dash with hand pinstripe, sparkling chrome trim and Dakota Digital gauges. The tilt column has a 1960 Impala steering wheel. Features include power seat and windows. Inside the glovebox is the stereo and air ride controls.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It's a smooth running 350 motor that's fully dressed. The intake is polished and has a chrome plated Edelbrock carb. It's decorated with a matched set of aluminum valve covers, breathers and plug wire holders. Up on top is an airbrushed 1953 Cadillac air cleaner. The front of the motor has Vintage Air conditioning and polished alternator. The hoses are braided stainless. MSD electronic ignition. It runs cool with a polished aluminum water pump, overflow bottle and radiator with an electric fan. It has a hydro boost power steering. The engine bay is all smooth clean metal painted yellow with custom pinstripe throughout.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk lid lifts open. It's been completely boxed and upholstered like the interior including the bottom of the trunk lid. There are 2 compartments that open. It has a carpeted floor, relocated battery and fuel filler. through our compartments and the fuel filler and battery.
UNDERSIDE: It literally rides on air, it has air bags at all four corners. Custom front clip with with polished tubular control arms, rack and pinion steering. In back the leaf springs and shocks were replaced. It has lowering blocks. Dual exhaust with welded seams and glass pack mufflers. New fuel system including the tank and electric fuel pump. It has disc brakes in front, drum in back. The e-brake is hooked up, the master cylinder and booster look new. Looking up at the motor it has an extra capacity oil pan and a chrome flywheel cover. It's a turbo 350 automatic trans and a Ford 9 inch rear end sits in the back. The frame, chassis and floors are very impressive. Smooth rust free metal with a semi gloss black finish.
SERVICE: We inspected the car and replaced the MSD box, repaired the brake lights, replaced wire to the tachometer, replaced the power window switch and lubed the track.
In today's world this custom build would cost $125,000 plus and you need to purchase a car to begin with. I like it better after my inspection. I love all the choices they made, the quality impressed me and it feels good. You won't blend in with this one!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
