This is one cool hot rod with great looks, way more power than it needs and this one even has air conditioning! I just acquired this car from the guy I sold it to a few years ago. He made significant improvements! He installed the motor, blower, ignition, carb etc. He had the interior and trunk completely redone. Added pinstripe and miscellaneous other details. It had a little over 2,000 miles, now just 4,600.

EXTERIOR: Classic hot rod style! Fiberglass 3 window, fenderless chopped coupe with suicide doors. The body is in excellent shape, no damage and the doors shut nice. The bright red paint is glossy. It has been hand pinstriped. Up front is a 32 grill, big headlights with Ford script and turn signals built into the spreader bar. The doors have original style handles, the trunk is power. In back it has led taillights and a chrome spreader bar. Of course, it is sitting tough on a set of staggered tires, much bigger in back. Weld aluminum wheels. The painted 3 piece hood is included.

INTERIOR: Recently completely redone interior. I'm 6 ft and fit comfortably. The entire inside of the cabin is upholstered. Custom stitched and molded door panels and headliner. Comfortable adjustable bucket seats, power driver side. Custom made lower dash and console. It has cupholders, LED shift indicator, power windows and a stereo system with 4 speakers. The leather wrapped steering wheel is on a tilt column. Matching set of white face gauges. Premium tight weave carpet with bound edges and custom mats. The suicide doors have dead bolt safety locks.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Blown and stroked 383 making 640 hp! They started with a crate 350 and had it professionally built by Kevin Simpson Racing Engines. There is only about 2,500 miles on the rebuild. On top is a Weiand supercharger with a CNC machined spacer, Edelbrock carb and a scooped air cleaner. It also has an MSD ignition system and a set of coated headers. It even has a complete heat and air conditioning system! The motor runs cool with an electric fan, aluminum radiator, water pump and overflow bottle. The motor is dressed up with polished parts. It looks so good we left the hood off!

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It has a power lift trunk lid. Inside is boxed and upholstered to match the interior. Square loop carpet on the floor. It also has aluminum hinges, chrome fire extinguisher and the battery is located in the trunk.

UNDERSIDE: Under this car is all red and very clean. It has a Speedway frame and suspension. The front end uses a drop axle with transverse leaf spring, rack & pinion steering and tubular trailing arms. In back is a four link with tubular control arms, coilover, adjustable shocks, and a swaybar. The dual exhaust uses glass pack style mufflers and chrome tips. Disc brakes in front, drum in back. Looking up at the motor it is new looking, has a high torque starter and chrome flywheel cover. Turbo 350 automatic trans with a remote oil cooler. Custom drive shaft goes back to a 10 bolt rear end.

SERVICE: We inspected the car took care of several minor issues. We replaced the radiator cap, a tie rod and driver's window motor. We reprogrammed the gear shift indicator and recalibrated the speedometer. We made repairs to the headlight and a/c switches, horn, wipers and passenger window motor. We straightened the steering wheel and adjusted the swaybar.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
