all right here we are in a beautiful lake havasu city morning early in the morning here looking at a really neat 1932 ford roadster done in a modern style very nicely done kind of hot rods you can drive it's a lot of grins to drive we're going to walk around and tell you about it like we usually do finished in a dark emerald green metallic very nicely done it's a rod bod reproduction all steel body it has a hagan three-piece hood up front here so the hood will actually this top lid will come off or the sides will come off these are nice actually functional vents on the side that are made out of billet it's got a two and a half inch roughly three inch chopped windshield on it we'll get around and we'll talk about the interior some too uh very nice salary done in the interior of the car it has uh foose wheels on it i don't know the style of the wheels but they're 265 40 zr22 so it has 22s in the rear again it's an all steel body fully engineered chassis box chassis it's actually has the wheelbase stretched forward so it gives this car a nice ride this car was clearly built to drive what's really fun about it is if you get underneath the hood it's a ford and a ford underneath the hood it has a ford 302 v8 uh four-speed automatic overdrive transmission in it it has a b m supercharger on it 174 low profile style really cool under the hood so you want to hang on to that chassis up front here again stretched forward gives the car a nice ride it has a nice tubular suspension it has four wheel disc brakes wheel wood disc brakes they finish the backing plates in the dark emerald green just like the rest of the car headlights are try uh tri-bar headlights up front here all stainless hardware adjustable coil over shocks in the front so you can change the ride heights front and rear how you like it out back as a ford 8 inch rear differential 4 bar rear suspension with a panhard bar shorty headers on it just a fun car absolutely no overheat issues on this car very nicely done dark ammo green you can kind of pick up the reflections here on it up front here i don't think i talked about the front 22s in the rear and 18s in the front again these side vents are all fully opened into the engine compartment [Music] see the front suspension there the reflections on the side of the hood another thing i noticed here the body line i never noticed anybody doing this before but they carried the body line up here and brought it to a point very neat nice little touch windshield's fully adjustable so you can peek it so it'll blow the uh wind over your head that kind of thing if you like but it it'll adjust down and go straight up has nice peep mirrors on both sides stainless inside here uh this car was built for a gentleman that uh originally built for a gentleman that did custom salary uh for show horses that type of thing and uh this interior was all done by him in the trunk it's the same thing you'll see this nice finished leather here matching carpet interior dash hang line gauges on it we'll get over to the driver's side polish tilt steering column you see the pedals here have the same leather inserts on it very nice as a steering wheel that matches the wheels i believe that's a foos steering wheel or that style behind the seat here are some map pockets for your registration that kind of thing will get you into the trunk the trunk matches but very cool leather interior in it these rod bod bodies steel bodies are very nice nice solid car fun to drive most of all ford and ford your friends always ask you that real deal 302 v8 automatic overdrive crate engine nice led light bar on the back here again we'll get you in the trunk kind of give you a peek at the undercarriage we actually had it up on the lift yesterday at spuds garage nicely done body color chassis body color floor pans box structure wheel disc brakes will wood i know i already mentioned that you'll see the drilled slotted rotors here and the caliper right there will wood get you inside here nice hardware this hog and three-piece hood we'll cover that with you for you there's a there's a latch here and a latch on the other side over there see it right there pull both those out you can take the hood off or you can just lift one and it tips the hood one direction or the other chrome steering column tilt has a arizona assigned vin but it is titled as a 1932 ford well actually uh fired up here uh well actually there's fire up underneath the hood hang on we'll cover the engine compartment with you like we usually do there's a column shift here kind of nice you don't have a shifter in your way emergency brakes right here emergency brake release you can hear the blower on it it's just too much fun it's got a boost gauge right here in the center oil pressure is 50 pounds or so water temperatures you know 150 or so this morning he's driven it all the way down here 1324 miles since it was built it was completed in about 2012 or so so it's about an eight-year-old build fuel gauge works volt gauge works get out and let you here run [Music] here get it all right we'll get you underneath the hood here too much fun go figure a ford and a ford very nice uh 302 ford v8 aod automatic overdrive transmission eight inch rear end it has a uh wyand 174 series low profile uh supercharger on it forced induction blown deuce holley carburetor on the top cover that here it has uh short tube headers that have been ceramic coated braided stainless lines in the fuel system here with the fuel pressure regulator all low carb rated lines and stuff like that kind of get of a feel there has a cooling components electric cooling fan which by the way a lot of guys use because they're very efficient there's no overheat issues on this car at all has a polished billet serpentine belt drive system on it serpentine drive for the blower itself notice how the front suspension's forward we'll talk about that on the uh where we've already talked about that but we get up on the left we'll share the suspension with you it has a nice ford wire separators here has a hagen three-piece hood that's removable you can remove the sides you can move just the top like we've done here for the video high amp alternator gm style one wire mallory ignition the coils down on the frame rail you'll see that on the undercarriage i like these vents on the hood side gives it a little air coolant recovery bottle right here this is the fill reservoir for the master cylinder since it's underneath the car anyway we think you get the idea we're going to fire it up here for you and share that with you [Music] [Music] again 302v8 [Music] all right we'll get you in the trunk here just like the forward compartment or the interior of the car this saddle and leather interior is just unbelievable very nice done by a custom saddle builder maker fuel tank here obviously fuel fill here's the floor mats here spotless has a nice leather pad on the driver's heel pad on the drivers this is an optima red top gel battery in here which is what it should be if you're going to be in a closed compartment there's the rod bod steel body tag on it there you go all right we got it up on the lift here cover the undercarriage for you we actually do this the day before the photo shoot if at all possible so i get a really good feel for the car uh i'm gonna walk underneath and tell you what we see four day rear a eight inch rear differential has a nice little diff cover on the back here gives it a good fit vintage feel a fully engineered chassis in the back here it has a will wood it has four wheel disc on it has will wood uh there's a wilwood caliper right there drilled slotted rotors traditional four bar rear suspension with adjustable coil overs on the back here which means you can set the ride height wherever you like or the rake [Music] appears been all painted or powder coated here it has uh all braided lines on the brakes it does have an emergency brake or emergency brake setup on it there's a panhard bar in the back here um exhaust exits down low there again 8 inch braided lines here's the electric fuel pump here transmission cooler the fuel filter right there the thing i forgot to cover when i was back there and i'll cover it here it has green led lights so when you're cruising down the road at night or doing a boulevard cruise you can flip on green leds it has them on both sides in the back so i had the back track there for you has a dual reservoir corvette style master cylinder power brake so it's got four wheel power disc brakes it has a uh gm or excuse me if ford aod automatic overdrive transmission in it they've done nice heat insulation along here for all the fuel lines and stuff to keep it from vapor locking uh all the tranny cooler lines are braided nice to see a ford and a ford i know i let gm slip off my tongue there start a sole noise down here low where you could actually get to it if you needed to mallory coil shorty short tube headers on it that are ceramic coated bottom of the crate engine blower up here we'll cover that or you've already seen that up front here it's got an extended wheelbase on it which makes these things ride really nice um tubular control arms again adjustable coil overs up front again wilwood disc brakes all the backing plates everything is finished in a body color but the wheelbase has moved forward on this car which gives it a nice long rake and it's it's again the kind of hot rod you can drive go to the back here thanks for coming to spuds garage call with any of your questions one more look here up on the
