Let's enter the "way back machine". LOL.
I had several pairs of saddle shoes, and they were really comfortable. Plus, when you wore them for a while, they were perfect. Then dad showed you how to apply shoe polish to brighten them up (don't get caught in the rain tho). I did not want to give them up. And then, I learned about the shoe repair man to get new soles . . . LOL. It was a good time to be a kid.
