Video Description:
A popcorn popper could mean the weekend had begun, and a Polaroid could turn an ordinary moment into something you kept forever. These gadgets were more than machines. They became part of the sounds, routines, and little traditions that made growing up in the 70s and 80s feel so memorable.

Stay Safe ! C. G.
WOW! That really brought back some old memories!
Great as always, brings back memories.
Wow. What a trip down memory lane. I did like that Veg-o-Matic. You didn't always use all three blades either. It was a time-saver. I remember all of them and I'm sure some of those are still around somewhere. When you have something that works, you hang on to it. For real! Thanks for posting this Mel. I smiled through the whole thing.
Fun stuff. I learned how to listen: never over-sharpened the pencil after that. My son was given a computer for his 3rd birthday, and a pager in high school, which was the only number he was allowed to give out. Progress is inevitable; memories are precious.
Thanks Mel.
Am 89 and not only seen but had all of them at one time. Still have electric pen sharpener and electric knife used not only for turkey carving but for fish filleting.
I remember it well.
I still have several of these. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Omg, what wonderful memories….i admit I still have the electric knife and can opener…lol oh, and pencil sharpener….
Fantastic video-----so many memories! I still use my air popper all the time--microwave popcorn is unhealthy.
Yes, I remember all of these, still have some of them,, Great memories of a great era,,
Good days, good times and good memories.
I remember all except the watch with the calculator. Also at school it was the hand crank pencil sharpener on the wall by the chalkboard!
Oh boy! Memories of the past. Still have the electric knife.
Yep, I recall allllll of them
An electric pencil sharpener at school? not my school, good ol' hand crank was screwed to the wall!
I remember it verry well.Thoes were the Days;
The good ol' days.
Not having a family, I didn't have these gadgets either. But I got along just fine!
