Description
Happiness is having a best friend (and a twig).
Beyond being adorable and rambunctious, these two Mexican gray wolf pups born on May 3, 2022, represent the Wolf Conservation Center's active participation in the effort to save this species from the brink of extinction.
The WCC, a 501c3 non-profit organization in South Salem, NY, is one of a network of facilities participating in the Mexican Wolf Species Survival Plan - a bi-national initiative whose primary purpose is to support the reestablishment of Mexican gray wolves in the wild through captive breeding, public education, and research.

- CharMaine Added Where are the parents?! Toddlers chewing on whatever they can get their paws on & no supervision . . . LOL. Doesn't matter the species, raising little ones, the issues remain the same.
