When my kids were growing up, they won two goldfish at a carnival. I bought a fishbowl. Wow, I had no idea, and I am so sorry I did not provide better for them. And now I know . . . they are quite smart.
I highly recommend the book “What a Fish Knows.” Contrary to popular belief, fish are sentient and intelligent, they feel pain, and they form relationships.
