Description

This guy stumbled across a hawk that was tangled in fishing line on the shore. He quickly worked to free the bird, who kept his eyes on him the entire time.

  • Mert Added That's an osprey. The most amazing thing about this is that the man rescuing wasn't cut to shreds by those razor-sharp talons and that beak! The bird knew.

Found a pelican once in the same shape with hooks in his wings and body because an ignorant fisherman didn’t do the right thing and untangle him. Had a bystander ask me why I bothered. I almost pushed him into the canal.
