Wonderful ending, wonderful person who saved this Osprey which seem to know that this person was trying to help it. Thanks.
I watched with such intent! Amazing how the hawk know that "someone" was helping him get free! The man who helped him was great, patient & thorough in taking the fishing line from the hawk. He deserves a big "Kudos" & thank you for helping the wildlife animals! May God Bless You. People should take more responsibility in what they leave behind to hurt our "wildlife"! I loved the video, Mel!!!

That's an osprey. The most amazing thing about this is that the man rescuing wasn't cut to shreds by those razor-sharp talons and that beak! The bird knew.
Boy, humans are sure creating a mess of garbage for the other inhabitants of this planet to kill or injure themselves on, hey? Practically every animal rescue involves something human-created. Cheers to the man that rescued this unfortunate hawk. Would have been a slow death for it, otherwise.

People need to clean up their messes. This is how the poor bird was caught. Found a pelican once in the same shape with hooks in his wings and body because an ignorant fisherman didn’t do the right thing and untangle him. Had a bystander ask me why I bothered. I almost pushed him into the canal.
