With keen olfactory systems and an ability to read human behavior, dogs are not only [wo]man’s best friends—they’re indefatigable allies in the fight for conservation. Based in Montana, Working Dogs for Conservation trains rescue dogs to sleuth out everything from illegal poaching to invasive species.
