To locate this ancient cemetery in Sicily, Italy, you’ve got to look up. Dating back over 3,000 years, the cemetery of Necropoli di Pantalica has more than 5,000 tombs carved into a limestone rock face. The tombs are built like artificial caves, and are completely untouched by infrastructure. Now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a walk through this valley is a reflective trip back in time.
