Description
The river is high, and all of our elephants enjoy to play in it. The river is a place of healing. For an elephant, it is a place of belonging, where identities are born, as the water caresses bodies battered and worn, and time's past becomes just that, bad memories that slip away downstream to the sea. Thaikoon, in the company of friends, loves to dive her head to the river bottom and float along in the current. She has difficulty walking due to a landmine injury, but the river rejuvenates, buoying both body and spirit to a place of peace. This is the spiritual practice of these 3 close friends every day of the week at Elephant Nature Park. Learn more: https://www.saveelephant.org/
