All the videos on my website are embedded from Youtube. From what little information I can find Youtube is testing turning off videos for certain users that are not logged into a Youtube account or using a VPN to view videos. If you have a Youtube account, please try logging in and see if you can then view the videos on https://mvotd.com. If you're using a VPN, try turning it off to view the videos. There are a few other work arounds but they are pretty confusing to use. If you have the skills you might try searching Google for "Youtube Sign in to confirm you're not a bot" for a fix. I didn't see any that looked easy. Our best hope is that Youtube completes their test and realizes this is a big mistake. Until then, please check in daily to see if you still getting the error message. Sorry it took so long to figure out what was going on with this. Mel
Description
The video features a stand-up comedy routine where the comedian humorously reflects on his 37-year marriage, aging, and the quirks of everyday life. His comedic storytelling brings laughter as he shares personal anecdotes and observations.
Meeting His Wife
Love at First Laugh: The comedian shares how he met his wife at a comedy club 37 years ago. He fell in love with her laugh before he even saw her, captivated by her infectious laughter while she worked as a waitress.
Impulsive Proposal: Despite being an impulsive decision, he decided to propose to her during a flight, without a ring or plan. His humorous take highlights the spontaneity of the moment and his lack of preparation.
Life Together
Marriage Proposal: At the Cleveland Airport, he proposed by the baggage claim with a casual, “Do you want to get married?” Her response was as casual as if agreeing to go to McDonald's, reflecting the laid-back nature of their relationship.
Adjusting to Changes: Over 37 years, both have experienced changes in their bodies. The comedian embraces aging, while his wife struggles with minor concerns like nonexistent hairs on her lip, leading to funny exchanges between them.
Observations on Aging
Makeup Mirror Magnification: The comedian humorously critiques his wife's use of a magnifying makeup mirror, which exaggerates her perceived flaws, and likens it to a “torture device” with its intense lighting.
Medicare and Health Checks: At 67, the comedian embraces his age and Medicare benefits, joking about visiting the doctor frequently simply because it's inexpensive, comparing it to elderly men feeding pigeons in the park.
Conclusion
The routine closes with the comedian's acceptance of aging, blending humor with relatability as he navigates the ups and downs of life with his wife. His anecdotes offer a lighthearted look at long-term relationships and the humor found in everyday life.
