Video Description:
"To discover the secrets of how red kites raise their chicks, I build a scaffold tower 16 metres high to study a nest high in the tree canopy. The amount of rubbish I found there was heartbreaking."

Fantastic photography and commentary. This is a very informative video, thank you, Mel.
Is that an incredible thing to watch or what? Nature at its finest moment, about to become parents and then parent rearing. What a view. Thanks Robert . . . thank you Mel.
So Beautiful!
Such beautiful pictures of the Kites by Robert. Great narration of his video by Robert. Humans carelessly discarding plastics is awful!
This is fascinating, so glad he filmed them and that you shared the film!
WOW, this has to be the BEST VIDEO to see the entire way the birds live. With all the homes we lived in, we always had lots of feeding areas in our backyards. But I never saw how the nests are made. That man even taught us what it takes to do whatever he needs and how he does it. I'd love to see more of videos like animals how they live. Thank you, Mel!
Very interesting! Worth watching again. Thanks Mel.
Incredible
Very interesting video. Hate to see the plastics being used for the nest. Humans!!
