Season’s Greetings from the Goats #Video
Description
Happy Holidays, from our home to yours! The weather has finally turned cold this week and we got our first dusting of snow, so we are enjoying the feeling of winter settling in! Felt like the perfect time to check in with our sweet farm followers! We post less this time of year so we can rest up for all the fun of spring when we try to share a video a day, but know we are thinking of you and so grateful every day for all the great energy and love you send our herd. The goats are super fuzzy, they develop a cashmere undercoat to stay warm, and about 14 are likely working on spring kids! More to breed in the weeks ahead and we will confirm that they are pregnant and get an idea of how many each mama is expecting in January! Such an exciting time. Even as it gets cold and it seems the world turns more lifeless, trust that the seeds of spring are getting ready! We are excited to welcome visitors back in the spring and to welcome all the new goat arrivals to our herd. (50-60 kids are expected!) The first are due on April 3rd and we will have goats kidding through much of July! So all kinds of fun awaits. If you are not already subscribed, get to it so you don't miss all the cuteness as it unfolds! Thanks again for all the love you showed the farm in 2022!
YouTube sent me these 2022 stats today! What a year! We got our silver YouTube plaque this year and had so much fun sharing the ups and downs of the farm online and in person! Thanks to each of you who connected here with our goats!
