Found swimming in Brazil’s Rio Negro with gunshot wounds, the jaguar was guided to shore by military police using a flotation device. Veterinarians later found shrapnel pieces under his skin, broken teeth, and other injuries – but the jaguar is now stable and recovering at a zoo in Manaus.
